Cashier/Customer Service Assistant

You must be able to adapt and help other team members when needed and must be organized to handle in store customers as well as online orders Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments. Handle cash transactions with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end. Provide product information, conduct product demos when applicable, and upsell items to enhance sales. Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and optimize sales opportunities. Address customer inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and professional etiquette. Support inventory management through stock replenishment and accurate product tagging. Demonstrate strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently and accurately. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques is advantageous. Experience with technology sales or product demos can be beneficial for upselling opportunities. Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
