Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while efficiently handling transactions. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping experience Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transaction processing Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professional phone etiquette Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized and appealing Assist customers with product selection, providing knowledgeable recommendations Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform basic math calculations for change Support inventory management through stock replenishment and product organization Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies during all interactions Skills Multilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customers Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or technical sales preferred Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively to increase sales opportunities Bilingual proficiency (English required; additional languages are advantageous) This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, have strong organizational abilities, and are eager to contribute to a positive shopping experience.
