Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with product questions, product demos, and store navigation to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for checkout transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible Conduct product demos when applicable to promote features and benefits to customers Manage inventory by assisting with stock replenishment and participating in regular stock counts Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person, resolving issues promptly and professionally Support sales goals through effective upselling techniques and promoting current promotions or new products Requirements Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customers in a bilingual environment is a plus Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory management Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is advantageous Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and calculating totals accurately Supervising experience or leadership skills are beneficial for supporting team efforts and maintaining store standards Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product presentation techniques is desirable Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally and courteously Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your retail career.
