Position Summary:

The Cashier and Feed Warehouse Team Member play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe, clean, and organized retail and warehouse environment. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks including cashiering, customer assistance, inventory handling, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, customer-focused, and capable of performing physical tasks in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Essential Functions:

  • Customer Service & Cashiering
  • Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries.
  • Stocking & Sales Support
  • Unload feed deliveries and stock shelves.
  • Assist customers with locating and loading purchases, using carts or forklifts as needed.

Other Duties:

  • Receive, store, and organize feed products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper product rotation.
  • Warehouse Operations

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Farm or agricultural background preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Knowledge:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Basic English literacy and numeracy skills required.

Skills:

  • Ability to lift 60 lbs. or more repeatedly.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Understand and follow proper lifting techniques.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Attend forklift safety training and certification.

  • Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper product rotation.
