Cashier and Customer Service

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier and Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for helping others. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support sales initiatives. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately and securely Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility Offer knowledgeable assistance on product features, especially in technology or electronics sales Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Support sales goals through effective communication and suggestive selling techniques Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming throughout the shift Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities (English and additional languages) are a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for customer interactions Ability to perform product demos and upsell products confidently Experience in merchandising or technical sales is advantageous Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if required Pay: $18.60-$28.32 per hour Benefits: Discounted or free food Store discount Application question(s): Please provide your email address for further communication.
