Cashier

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a professional attitude. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or merchandising are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and digital payments Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance sales opportunities Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed Assist customers with inquiries, returns, or exchanges using excellent phone etiquette Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times Support inventory management through merchandising and stock replenishment Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to increase sales Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures at all times Experience Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills for transaction accuracy Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency (English and other languages) are a plus Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively Experience in merchandising or technical sales is advantageous but not required Demonstrated time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly Join our team as a Cashier to deliver outstanding service while developing valuable retail skills in a dynamic environment.
