Job Overview Here at Dayton Metal Recycling we are expecting you to have a friendly and positive attitude with our customers and answer any questions they may have to the best of your abilities! Saturdays are mandatory. Since we are a scrap yard you'll get dirty and have to pick up and put away material. Responsibilities Operate our soft wear accurately, handling transactions with speed and precision. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customer's warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone calls or inquiries, ensuring clear communication. Skills . Prior supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings. Strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively and provide clear information. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs better. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management. Experience in retail sales, cashiering, upselling, and cash handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transaction processing. Excellent phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone or in person. Familiarity with stock management, product demos, and retail sales transactions enhances overall performance.
