Duties Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at the end of each shift Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising to create an inviting shopping environment Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or providing store information over the phone Support product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items Assist in inventory management by stocking products and participating in regular stock checks Ensure cleanliness and organization of the checkout area for a professional appearance Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for smooth transaction processing Previous supervising experience or leadership skills to support team members when needed Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and patience in handling questions or concerns Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and balancing registers Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations (preferred) Ability to perform retail math calculations confidently for sales totals and discounts Experience with retail sales transactions, upselling strategies, and cashiering procedures Familiarity with stock management, product demos, and promotional activities Demonstrated phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors Join us in creating a vibrant shopping environment where every customer leaves satisfied!
