Duties Operate cash registers (POS systems) accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift end Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information or demos Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive store appearance Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product replenishment Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail or grocery environment Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities in bilingual settings preferred Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to assist in team oversight when needed Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling procedures Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and grocery store operations is a plus Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication standards in a retail setting Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
