Overview Part time help wanted (17 hrs to 22 hrs) Need for Monday and Friday - 5:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday - 1 pm to 8:00pm Sunday: 10am to 2pm (optional) More available later in the month. Duties Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling techniques. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cash drawer balancing, processing payments via POS (Point of Sale) systems, and ensuring secure cash register operations. Assist in stocking shelves and merchandising displays to maintain an attractive store environment. Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or assisting via phone communication channels. Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and ensuring retail store product knowledge is up-to-date for effective customer assistance. keep store clean. Qualifications Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities. Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations, cash drawer handling, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and sales techniques to enhance customer engagement. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create a welcoming shopping environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and setting up product displays.
