Responsibilities Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, assisting with product locations, and ensuring customer satisfaction Manage cash drawer handling, balancing registers at the start and end of shifts while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures Conduct product demos when applicable to promote features and benefits of store merchandise Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with merchandising to ensure the store remains attractive and well-organized Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information over the phone Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and assisting with product replenishment Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Apply basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and transaction processing Experience Previous cashier experience in retail or grocery store environments preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively Experience in retail sales transactions, merchandising, or grocery store operations will help you excel in this role Strong customer service skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for success Join us to become part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
