Duties Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions with speed and precision Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of store merchandise Upsell complementary products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an appealing store layout and merchandising standards Assist with inventory management through stocking, product replenishment, and participating in stock counts Use POS (Point of Sale) systems effectively for transactions, returns, and exchanges Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support supervising team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations Requirements Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling better service for a wider range of shoppers Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing cash drawers at shift end Knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math concepts Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising principles, and upselling techniques Join us as a Cashier and become an integral part of creating memorable shopping experiences!
