Duties Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately handling all retail sales transactions and cash drawer management. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales. Upsell complementary products or services to enhance the shopping experience and increase store revenue. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support inventory management through stock replenishment and participating in stock counts as needed. Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively. Experience in supervising or leading small teams is a bonus but not mandatory. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and sales strategies is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, patience, and attention to detail.
