Job Overview The Pizza Box is looking for a motivated, responsible woman who’s eager to learn. We’re looking for someone friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with customers — someone who respects both our clients and her scheduled work hours. Schedule: Morning/early afternoon shift 9:50 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (Starting with a couple of days a week is also possible.) Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain knowledge of store products to assist with product demos and upselling opportunities Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining product presentation standards Conduct basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and inventory replenishment Promote store promotions and upselling opportunities to enhance sales performance Demonstrate exceptional communication skills when collaborating with team members and assisting customers Engage customers by offering product demos when appropriate to enhance their shopping experience Assist in maintaining a safe environment by adhering to store policies and safety procedures Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math calculations Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience in merchandising, stocking, or grocery store operations is advantageous Supervising experience is considered a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Join us as a Cashier and become an integral part of creating memorable shopping experiences!
