Carrier Support Representative
Fansler Global LogisticsAbout the role We're a freight brokerage looking for a dependable Carrier Support Representative to be a friendly point of contact for our established network of trucking carriers. This is a support role, with no sales quotas or cold calling. What you'll do Communicate with our existing carriers by phone and email Answer routine questions and follow up on open items Keep carrier records and information up to date Occasionally work with carriers on rates for loads that are already booked Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with carriers and facilities Pass more complex issues to the right team member What we're looking for Some experience in trucking, freight, or logistics (6 months to 2 years is great) Clear, professional written and phone communication Organized and reliable, with strong attention to detail Comfortable with computers, email, and spreadsheets Able to work independently in a remote setting Nice to have Freight brokerage or drayage experience Familiarity with trucking terminology and how carriers and brokers work together Customer service background Experience with a TMS (transportation management system) Some experience negotiating with carriers Location Fully remote anywhere in the US. Candidates in the Austin, TX area are preferred. Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
