Carrier Sales & Operations Contributor

Description: The Carrier Advocate works with their dedicated TNT Specialist to source, onboard, manage and support key carrier relationships, ensuring that ACI Transport is prepared with the necessary carrier coverage to service our clients effectively. They act as a conduit to securing coverage and building carrier relationships primarily through outbound effort. Core Responsibilities: Recruit and onboard carriers in key areas to ensure appropriate carrier capacity is maintained. Directly manage key carrier relationships (based on usage and/or market segment) Assist Operations Managers in the fulfilment of High Priority and/or atypical orders. Secondary Responsibilities: Support the Track & Trace team by ensuring timely updates from carriers they have dispatched. Answer inbound calls to the Operations Department as needed. Core Metrics: Delivered Gross Profit (DGP) of Owned Carriers – More than $15,000 Monthly Total Dispatches – Minimum of 400 a month DOT % of Owned Carriers – Minimum of 90% Secondary Metrics: Delivery On-Time Percentage Gross Profit Percentage Coverage Time Coverage Percentage Core Competencies: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Proficient with the Windows OS Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to manage time independently and effectively.
