ortunity is ideal for an experienced carpenter, handyman contractor or small construction company that can independently manage assigned scopes of work, coordinate their work efficiently and deliver quality results.
Scope of Work
Projects may include
• Drywall installation, repairs and finishing
• Taping, mudding and sanding
• Interior painting and touch-ups
• Baseboards, trim, doors and finish carpentry
• Flooring installation and repairs
• General carpentry and handyman repairs
• Minor exterior repairs and finishing
Residential and commercial reconstruction following water damage, and other restoration projects
Subcontractor Requirements
Applicants must have
• Valid WCB coverage for all workers attending job sites, with clearance available upon request
• Commercial general liability insurance
• A valid GST registration number, where applicable
• Their own reliable vehicle, tools and equipment necessary to complete assigned work
• A valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence
• Demonstrated experience in carpentry, renovations, reconstruction or related trades
• The ability to independently complete and manage assigned scopes of work
• The ability to meet agreed project schedules and communicate professionally
• A commitment to quality workmanship, jobsite safety and maintaining clean, organized work areas

Compensation & Work Arrangement
• Project-based subcontract work, with compensation agreed upon before work begins
• Pricing based on an approved project quote, defined scope of work or agreed unit rates, as applicable
• Invoicing by the subcontractor for completed work in accordance with the subcontract agreement
• Ongoing project opportunities as workload permits; minimum work volume is not guaranteed
• This is an independent subcontracting opportunity, not an hourly employment position.
