Carpenter/ Craftsman

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Craftsman to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, bringing craftsmanship and precision to every task. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work, interpreting technical plans, and ensuring safety standards are met on-site. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into tangible structures, delivering exceptional results that meet client expectations and industry standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, and installation tasks with precision and safety Construct, install, repair, and restore structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, cabinetry, doors, siding, and roofing components Operate woodworking machines and heavy equipment safely to fabricate custom fixtures and structural elements Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration as needed Measure materials accurately for cutting and fitting; ensure all work aligns with blueprints and construction plans Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials Skills Extensive experience in residential carpentry including framing, trim work, door hanging, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools for woodworking and metal stud framing Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and material procurement Familiarity with woodworking machines and fabrication techniques for custom projects Strong understanding of safety standards related to power tools, heavy lifting, scaffolding, rebar installation, mold remediation, roofing techniques, drywall finishing, caulking applications, masonry work, and water damage restoration Experience working on construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship in remodeling or restoration projects Ability to interpret schematics for fixture installation or metal stud framing; experience with CNC machinery is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site while maintaining safety protocols Join our team if you’re passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to exciting building projects.
