Job Overview As a Cariste, you’ll support warehouse distribution by moving, staging, and organizing goods for efficient storage and order fulfillment. You’ll use appropriate material-handling equipment and follow established workflows to keep products moving safely and accurately. This hands-on role combines equipment operation, order picking, and coordination with warehouse colleagues. Duties Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move, load, and position products. Pick orders accurately, verify quantities, and prepare goods for storage or distribution. Use the warehouse management system to record movements, update order status, and locate inventory. Perform heavy lifting as needed, keep work areas organized, and report equipment or product concerns. Your impact: Accurate, timely handling helps colleagues fulfill orders and maintain reliable warehouse flow. Qualifications Required: Practical ability to operate warehouse equipment, follow safe handling procedures, perform order picking, use basic math, and enter accurate information in a warehouse management system. Mechanical knowledge supports equipment checks and helps identify issues.
