CARGO VAN OWNER OPERATORS WANTED

Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dependable Cargo Van Owner Operators to join our dynamic delivery team! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely using your own cargo van, ensuring timely deliveries to customers across various locations. Responsibilities Safely operate your personal cargo van to pick up and deliver packages and goods according to scheduled routes. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment as needed. Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) safety standards during all driving activities. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including route logs and delivery confirmations via mobile devices. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the route. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation. Provide exceptional customer service by handling deliveries professionally and courteously at each stop. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving manual handling and heavy lifting. Familiarity with commercial driving, box trucks, or van driving is highly desirable. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles with safe lifting practices in accordance with DOT regulations. Experience with route driving, adhering to traffic laws, and managing time efficiently during deliveries. Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks, and safe manual handling techniques. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatch teams via mobile devices or other communication tools. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, moving items, and manual handling with safety awareness in a fast-paced environment.
