Cargo Van Owner and Operator

We are seeking a reliable, committed Cargo Van Owner-Operator for consistent delivery work. This position is best suited for an experienced driver who wants a long-term working relationship and is comfortable with the physical and time-sensitive demands of route delivery. This is an active delivery position — not a sit-in-the-van job. Drivers should expect to spend a significant portion of their route walking outside, getting in and out of the vehicle, carrying packages, and making deliveries on foot . Routes may require working in hot, cold, rainy, windy, or otherwise changing weather conditions . Drivers are also expected to complete their assigned routes within established delivery timeframes . Being able to manage your time, maintain a consistent pace, and complete the route by the required cutoff is an essential part of the job. As an Owner-Operator, you will use your own cargo van to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries while representing our company professionally with customers and shipping partners. We are specifically looking for drivers who are dependable, physically capable, comfortable working outdoors, able to work at a steady pace, and committed to showing up consistently . This is not intended to be a short-term or one-week opportunity. What You Should Expect Before applying, please understand that this job involves: Walking: You will regularly park the vehicle and walk to delivery locations rather than simply driving from stop to stop. Working outdoors: You will be outside throughout the route and should be prepared to work in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain. Physical activity: The position involves frequent getting in and out of the vehicle, walking, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading packages. Time-sensitive routes: Routes must be completed within the required delivery window or cutoff time. You are expected to maintain a productive pace throughout the day. Independent work: You will spend most of your route working independently and are responsible for managing your time and completing your assigned deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate your cargo van while following all traffic laws and applicable safety regulations. Report consistently for scheduled routes and complete assigned work as agreed. Complete deliveries within established route schedules and required timeframes. Park safely and walk packages to delivery locations as required. Load, unload, lift, carry, and deliver packages safely throughout the route. Work efficiently while maintaining an appropriate pace to complete the route on time. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Use GPS and route-planning tools to navigate efficiently. Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation. Communicate promptly about delays, vehicle problems, delivery issues, or circumstances that could affect completion of the route. Keep your cargo van clean, safe, reliable, and properly maintained.
