Duties Safely operate your own cargo van to pick up and deliver packages and goods to designated locations. Manage daily routes efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatch or clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of your cargo van to ensure safety and compliance. Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during deliveries. Handle packages with care, ensuring they are delivered in good condition. Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Skills Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Own a reliable cargo van suitable for transporting goods. Strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch or clients. Ability to navigate using GPS or maps efficiently. Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and independence. Basic organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and paperwork.
