Cargo Van Driver – Local Delivery Opportunities

Job Overview As a Cargo Van Driver, you’ll keep local deliveries moving by safely transporting orders from warehouse operations to customers and delivery locations. You’ll plan and follow routes, use mobile devices to manage delivery details, and provide helpful customer service at each stop. This paid role may also involve driving a box truck or using a personal vehicle for delivery, depending on assignment. Duties Drive a cargo van or assigned vehicle on local routes, following traffic regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements that apply to the vehicle and work. Load and unload orders; use safe lifting practices when handling heavy items and workplace weights. Operate material handling equipment such as a pallet jack or forklift when authorized and needed. Use mobile devices to review routes, record delivery status, and communicate updates. Provide courteous service and handle deliveries as a van driver or courier. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable delivery help customers receive their orders safely and on time. Experience Delivery driver experience, delivery driving, route driving, or other commercial driving experience is helpful. Commercial truck driving, box truck, or personal vehicle delivery experience is a plus. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, moving, manual handling, and load-and-unload work are useful. Familiarity with manual transmission, forklift, pallet jack, and material handling equipment operation is preferred. Ability to drive safely, follow DOT regulations, and perform required lifting and handling tasks is important.
