As we expand our operations throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area, we are seeking reliable, motivated, and experienced owner-operators who own their own cargo vans, Sprinter vans, or box trucks. Our operations include supporting Bird’s electric scooter fleet through transportation, deployment, recovery, and redistribution services. Position Overview We are seeking qualified owner-operators and vehicle-owning logistics businesses interested in generating additional revenue through local fleet logistics assignments. This opportunity is ideal for experienced cargo van owners, box truck operators, independent delivery businesses, and transportation professionals looking to maximize the earning potential of their existing commercial vehicles. Assignments are performed throughout Los Angeles and surrounding service areas. Key Responsibilities Transport electric scooters between designated locations. Recover and collect scooters from assigned areas. Deploy and redistribute scooters throughout operational zones. Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment safely. Complete assigned tasks accurately using designated mobile applications. Maintain timely communication with operations management. Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines. Provide accurate documentation and confirmation of completed assignments. Maintain a professional and reliable standard of service. Vehicle Requirements Applicants must own or legally operate at least one of the following: Cargo Van Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Ford Transit Ram ProMaster Commercial Box Truck Vehicles must be properly maintained, legally registered, appropriately insured, and suitable for transporting electric scooters. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated. Ownership or authorized operation of a qualifying vehicle. Appropriate commercial vehicle insurance as required. Ability to safely load and unload equipment. Smartphone capable of running operational applications. Strong communication and time-management skills. Ability to navigate Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Dependable attendance for accepted assignments. Previous delivery, courier, fleet operations, or logistics experience preferred. Compensation & Earning Opportunities HNDRD Logistics offers a performance-based compensation structure tied to successfully completed and verified logistics tasks. Proposed compensation structure: Earn 70% of the applicable verified task payout. Compensation based on completed tasks rather than a fixed hourly rate, subject to applicable law. Weekly payment settlements. Potential performance and volume-based incentives. Opportunities for additional assignments based on operational demand and performance. Actual earnings depend on assignment availability, task type, completion volume, and operational performance. No minimum earnings or assignment volume is guaranteed.
