Responsibilities Safely operate cargo vans, box trucks, or personal vehicles for delivery routes across designated areas Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices Ensure accurate delivery and receipt of packages by verifying addresses and shipment details Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during route driving Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal safety and functionality Utilize mobile devices or delivery apps to navigate routes, update delivery statuses, and communicate with dispatch teams Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Skills Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or appropriate licensing for van or truck operation Experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services with a focus on route driving and load & unload procedures Skilled in manual transmission vehicles, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices in accordance with workplace weight handling standards Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols for commercial truck driving Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively on mobile devices during deliveries Ability to handle physical tasks such as moving items, manual handling, and operating equipment like pallet jacks safely Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills meet your passion for logistics!
