Job Summary Join our dynamic logistics team as a Cargo Van Driver, delivering loads across all 50 states with energy, precision, and professionalism. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using a box truck or personal vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate cargo vans, box trucks, or personal vehicles for nationwide deliveries across all 50 states. Load and unload shipments efficiently using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks. Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and DOT regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams via mobile devices to confirm delivery details and update delivery statuses. Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring courteous interactions during drop-offs and pickups. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs, manifests, and load/unload records. Skills Proven warehouse experience combined with commercial driving skills for efficient load handling and transportation. Experience operating box trucks, cargo vans, or personal vehicles for delivery purposes. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and moving freight safely. Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, and safe lifting practices. Strong understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and route driving across multiple states. Excellent driving record with adherence to traffic regulations and safety protocols at all times. Customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries while managing load & unload processes efficiently.
