Cargo Specialist

BRITT Cargo Express is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Cargo Specialist to coordinate freight routing, track shipments, and support on-time deliveries. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills who enjoys solving problems and keeping logistics operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Plan and optimize cargo pickup and delivery routes. Track shipments, monitor schedules, and resolve transportation delays. Coordinate with drivers, carriers, dispatchers, warehouse teams, and customers. Verify shipment details, delivery addresses, and cargo requirements. Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare routing reports. Use Excel, GPS, and transportation management systems to manage shipments. Identify ways to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs. Follow company procedures and freight-handling requirements. Qualifications Experience in logistics, dispatch, freight, or transportation preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics software. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
