Cargo Handler

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cargo Handler to join our team. The Cargo Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and moving cargo, freight, and shipments within a warehouse or distribution facility. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Load and unload cargo, freight, and shipments from trucks, trailers, and containers. Sort, organize, and move incoming and outgoing shipments. Inspect cargo for visible damage and report any discrepancies. Verify shipment labels, quantities, and documentation. Safely operate material-handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Stack, secure, and position cargo to prevent damage during storage and transportation. Maintain an organized and clean loading dock and work area. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines. Assist with inventory tracking and shipment preparation. Perform other warehouse and cargo-handling duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, freight handling, or cargo handling experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages and materials. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Comfortable working in a warehouse, loading dock, or freight handling environment.
