Role and Responsibilities:
As a Cargo Handler, you will be responsible for facilitating the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse. You will ensure items are safely handled, properly organized, and prepared for shipment, all while maintaining a clean and productive environment.
• Load and unload freight using manual methods and warehouse equipment.
• Sort, organize, and prepare products for storage or shipment, ensuring correct labeling.
• Handle items carefully to prevent damage during handling and transportation.
• Repack, palletize, and verify shipments under the direction of site leadership.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace to enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform routine housekeeping and general warehouse maintenance duties.
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and carry 25-75 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous warehouse or equipment experience is helpful; training will be provided.
• High physical stamina and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and collaborate effectively with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and familiarity with logistics processes.
• Knowledge of inventory management or shipping systems.
