Your New Company Join a global consumer goods organization with a significant presence across the United States. The business operates across multiple locations and functions, offering a fast-paced environment with strong opportunities to collaborate across People & Culture, Finance, Procurement, Health & Safety, and business operations. Your New Role As Car Fleet Manager, you will oversee a nationwide fleet of approximately 300–400 job and benefit vehicles, acting as the primary contact for employees, business leaders, fleet providers, and insurance vendors. You will manage fleet operations, driver compliance, vehicle purchasing and replacement, safety initiatives, budgeting, tax reporting, and vendor performance, while developing the company’s Green Mobility roadmap toward hybrid and electric vehicles. This is a highly visible individual-contributor position with no direct reports, although administrative support is available for invoice processing. The role involves limited travel, with occasional attendance at training or business events. What You Will Need to Succeed 3–5 years of corporate car fleet management experience within a mid-sized or large organization. Experience managing fleet, leasing, insurance, maintenance, accident management, and vehicle-related vendors. Strong knowledge of fleet compliance, driver safety, license requirements, and corporate vehicle policies. Experience managing fleet budgets, operational reporting, employee vehicle taxation, purchase orders, and vendor payments. Strong stakeholder-management, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently while partnering effectively with Finance, Procurement, Payroll, Health & Safety, and business leaders. Exposure to hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, international driver-license requirements, or Green Mobility initiatives would be advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar systems would be beneficial. What You Will Get in Return You will receive a base salary of $99,800–$136,300 , plus a 12.5% bonus . There may be some salary flexibility and relocation support for an exceptional candidate, alongside the opportunity to lead a business-critical fleet function and help shape the company’s future Green Mobility strategy.
