The Capital Material Planning Analyst provides cross-functional coordination and forward-looking visibility into material requirements, project logistics, and financial exposure. This role works closely with Material Coordination, Purchasing, Project Management, Controls, and external vendors to improve planning, visibility, data quality, and execution. The position will also support the development and administration of long-term material agreements and use tools such as Power BI and Excel to provide accurate, actionable reporting to management. Essential Job Tasks: Material Planning & Coordination Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather, validate, and align information related to capital project material/equipment requirements, potential delays, manufacturing schedules, delivery schedules, and project financial exposure. Develop and maintain forward-looking visibility into material needs, lead times, vendor capacity and anticipated cash-flow requirements. Identify and resolve data discrepancies, clarify ownership, and establish consistent definitions and processes. Support proactive identification of material and supply-chain risks. Reporting & Analytics Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reports that provide accurate, actionable supply-chain information. Improve reporting accuracy, usability, automation, and repeatability as business needs evolve. Translate supply-chain data into meaningful information for management decision-making. Contracts & Vendor Coordination Support and coordinate the technical scopes of work used in blanket purchase agreements and material contracts. Support the development and administration of the technical scopes of work used in long-term contractual agreements across a broad range of material categories. Maintain visibility into vendor commitments thru frequent and routine calls with vendors, vendor representatives, etc. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field. Experience with supply-chain, materials management, purchasing, logistics, contracts, or business analytics preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI preferred. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up with stakeholders, and resolve data and process issues. Ability to understand complex information and translate it into clear, actionable reporting. Compensation Information: $67,720 - $84,640 (min. - mid.)
