Capital Buyer/Systems Spec

Job Summary: The Capital Buyer/Systems Specialist is responsible for procurement of all operational and routine capital purchases of furniture and equipment system-wide. This position provides support for all non-routine, non-standard furniture and equipment quotes and purchases across the system. Additionally, this role is responsible for all operational procurement software systems. Required Qualifications: Require three (3) years of business experience or equivalent work experience directly related to purchasing, project coordination, product research, customer service, supply chain, preferably in healthcare field. Preferred Qualifications: Prefer proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Prefer demonstrated functional knowledge of supply chain systems and processes, preferably PeopleSoft knowledge. Prefer proficiency in project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize a variety of duties. Prefer proficiency in the advanced use of computer software and databases in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheets) Prefer the ability to take initiative, work with little supervision and solve problems independently. Prefer proficiency in the ERP system (PeopleSoft).
