Position Overview Mercy Wellness is seeking a Cannabis Retail Inventory Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day organization, accuracy, security, and compliance of inventory at our Cotati retail location. This position provides direction and support to the Inventory & Vault team and works closely with the General Manager, Purchasing & Distribution, and Retail teams to ensure inventory is accurately received, entered, stored, tracked, transferred, replenished, and maintained. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable taking initiative, and able to provide professional day-to-day leadership in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily Inventory & Vault operations, including prioritizing and assigning tasks. Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day support to Inventory & Vault team members. Receive, verify, label, and enter incoming inventory and ensure receiving processes are completed accurately. Maintain an organized, secure, and compliant vault and inventory area. Oversee inventory counts and reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels, product quality, expiration dates, and sales floor replenishment needs. Support inventory transfers, product movement, and required documentation. Maintain accurate product information, pricing, promotions, and online menu information. Use Treez, METRC, and other systems to manage inventory, counts, reports, invoices, and transfers. Communicate inventory issues, trends, and discrepancies to the General Manager and appropriate teams. Work closely with Purchasing & Distribution and Retail to support inventory needs and product movement. Help ensure inventory procedures and applicable California cannabis regulations are consistently followed. Support the General Manager with team training, coaching, and day-to-day performance feedback. Assist with retail operations, special projects, and other duties as needed. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old and successfully complete the required Live Scan background check. Strong attention to detail, organization, accountability, and commitment to inventory accuracy. Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic math and computer skills. Ability to prioritize responsibilities, take initiative, and adjust to changing needs in a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide professional and respectful direction and support to team members. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments. Inventory, retail, warehouse, or cannabis industry experience preferred. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Treez, METRC, or similar inventory management system experience preferred. Knowledge of cannabis inventory and compliance requirements preferred. Schedule This is a Full-Time position, regularly scheduled Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM , with additional flexibility as needed based on business, staffing, inventory, and coverage needs. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Work is primarily performed in a fast-paced cannabis retail, inventory, and vault environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds . Regular use of computers, inventory systems, scanners, and other workplace equipment.
