Cannabis Inventory Agent

POSITION SUMMARY Our Inventory Agents play a vital role in ensuring compliance with Nevada’s seed-to-sale tracking system, METRC. They implement control measures to maintain inventory accuracy and optimal stock levels. Additionally, they assist in monthly inventory reconciliations and regulatory reporting required by the state. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS Minimum of one year of inventory experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Experience with METRC is highly desirable. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and complete projects in an organized, timely manner. Experience in critical thinking, planning, and problem-solving preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a federal background check to obtain an industry work card. CORE JOB DUTIES Accurately receive and label products from vendors. Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to maintain stock levels on the sales floor. Perform inventory counts and investigate discrepancies. Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and update as necessary. Oversee and participate in monthly physical inventory counts. Compile and submit monthly reports on inventory discrepancies, including corrective measures. Establish and monitor inventory turnover and product level goals. Coordinate with management and vendors on damaged, returned, or expired products. Schedule deliveries and manage product intake in collaboration with vendors. Conduct spot-checks to verify inventory quantities and labeling compliance.
