Cannabis Delivery Driver Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to transport cannabis products between our facility, licensed cannabis businesses, and retail locations throughout Illinois. This is primarily a driving and delivery position. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable spending extended periods on the road, communicates well, and represents the company professionally when interacting with customers and partner facilities. Previous professional driving, delivery, route driving, warehouse, retail, or customer service experience is a plus. Cannabis industry experience is not required. Key Responsibilities Safely pick up and deliver cannabis products between licensed facilities and retail locations. Complete scheduled delivery routes throughout Illinois while following all company procedures and applicable state regulations. Regularly complete routes involving 8–12 hour workdays , with occasional longer routes of up to approximately 15 hours when transportation schedules require it. Work alongside a co-driver when required for longer routes. Maintain flexibility for early-morning start times, changing routes, traffic delays, customer delays, and occasional last-minute scheduling adjustments. Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts and routes. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, transportation logs, manifests, and related paperwork. Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly communicate any vehicle concerns. Load, secure, pick up, and deliver products as required. Communicate proactively with dispatch and management regarding delays, route changes, customer issues, or other unexpected situations. Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor when interacting with dispensaries, cultivation facilities, warehouses, and other customers. Follow assigned routes, traffic laws, safety procedures, and company transportation policies. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when transporting regulated products. We are primarily looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, comfortable driving long routes, and able to represent our company professionally.
