C-Class Smash Truck Driver

Job Overview As a C-Class Smash Truck Driver, you’ll drive planned routes on a daily basis to customer locations across the Chicagoland area performing industrial waste compaction services. This active outdoor role combines commercial truck driving, customer service, and careful attention to traffic and safety requirements. Responsibilities Reduce customer waste volumes by as much as 70% by performing a waste compaction service using specialty equipment attached to the "Smash" truck. Training provided. Drive assigned routes and operate trucks safely, following traffic laws, defensive driving practices, and safety protocols. Complete vehicle maintenance checks, report mechanical concerns, and maintain clear communication with customers and team members. Your impact: Safe, reliable compaction services helps reduce the volume of hauling trucks on the road, reduces the need for landfill space and reduces vehicle CO2 emissions. Serving municipalities and businesses in the manufacturing, construction, distribution, transportation and service industries. Requirements Commercial driving experience and a valid C-Class license to operate the vehicle (non-CDL license). Good driving record Mechanical knowledge & outdoor work experience Skilled working with smartphone/tablet applications Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid training Safety equipment provided Work Location: In person
