What You’ll Do
You will work closely with our buyers to keep purchasing running smoothly. Your day to day will include:
• Balancing and reconciling vendor invoices
• Processing credits
• Making routine updates in NetSuite and on our website
• Coordinating last minute special orders for customers
• Preparing product samples for quality testing
• Helping put together Buyer News and our Weekly Specials
Schedule
Monday: 6:00am-3:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Weekend: 4 hour flexible shift
This is a full time position. Because we work with perishable product, the Monday early start and weekend shift are an important part of the role.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
• Good computer skills, including Excel or Google Sheets
• Clear, friendly communication by phone, email, and in person
• Ability to juggle several tasks and shift gears quickly when something changes
• Reliable attendance, including early Monday mornings and weekends
Preferred, but not required:
• Experience with accounting, accounts payable, or invoice reconciliation
• Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system
• Background in floral, produce, or other perishable industries
• Experience writing short customer or team updates
