Buyer / Procurement Specialist – Automotive, RV & Marine Parts Company: Powernode Computer Inc. / Brake-X & IBS RVMarines Location: Markham, Ontario Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site Salary: CAD$45,251.95 - CA$65,000.00 per year About Us Powernode Computer Inc. is a Canadian company operating multiple businesses in e-commerce, product distribution, computer hardware, automotive parts, RV and marine products. Our Brake-X and IBS RVMarines divisions serve customers across Canada and the United States. We are looking for a Buyer / Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing activities, develop supplier relationships and improve inventory planning for our automotive, RV and marine product lines. Key Responsibilities Manage daily purchasing activities and supplier relationships. Source new products and suppliers to support business growth. Negotiate pricing, purchasing terms and delivery schedules. Monitor inventory levels and determine replenishment requirements. Analyze sales trends, product demand and purchasing performance. Identify slow-moving and excess inventory and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with sales, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely purchasing, inventory availability and order fulfillment. Monitor supplier performance, product quality and delivery timelines. Maintain accurate purchasing records, product costs and supplier information. Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve inventory turnover. Qualifications Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management. Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Good understanding of inventory planning and purchasing processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate with different departments. Experience with automotive, RV or marine products is an asset. Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an asset. Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset. What We Offer Full-time employment with an established Canadian company.
