Buyer L3 with Purchase orders

Job Description & Skill Requirement: • Requires a BS degree in Business Administration or related degree and a minimum of 5+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate will have specialized experience in purchasing and or contracts. Experience with CAD drawings including knowledge of Automotive and Proto-Type parts required. Expert PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required. SAP Experience required. Use Call notes held on 5/4 • Must Have Skills & Experience • Core Capabilities • Strong coordination / project support ability in a fast-moving, changing environment • Ability to manage open purchase orders (POs) and track multiple items simultaneously • Proven skill in working cross-functionally with internal teams (designers, stakeholders) and external suppliers • High attention to detail and ability to stay organized in an R&D setting where priorities shift freque ntly Communication & Professional Skills • Clear, effective verbal and written communication • Comfortable interacting with suppliers and internal customers • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and follow-through • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes Experience Level • A pproximately 5+ years of relevant experience (flexible) • Not suitable for entry-level or brand-new college graduates • Emphasis on capability and adaptability over years of tenure Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Experience with SAP • Experience with Ariba / SAP Business Network for supplier communication Industry Background • Automotive industry experience • Basic CAD drawing interpretation • Ability to view drawings and pull part information • No CAD manipulation required
