Katalyst CROJob Description & Skill Requirement We are looking for an experienced Buyer L3 with strong purchasing/procurement and contract experience, preferably within the automotive or R&D environment. The candidate should be comfortable managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and interpreting basic CAD drawings for automotive and prototype parts. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of relevant purchasing, procurement, or contracts experience. Specialized experience in purchasing and/or contracts. Experience with SAP is required. Experience with CAD drawings, particularly automotive and prototype parts. Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other technical software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel and work overtime as required. Core Capabilities Strong coordination and project support skills in a fast-paced and changing environment. Ability to manage open Purchase Orders (POs) and track multiple items simultaneously. Experience working cross-functionally with designers, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage changing priorities within an R&D environment. Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills. Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes. Communication & Professional Skills Clear and effective verbal and written communication. Comfortable interacting with suppliers and internal customers. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and follow tasks through to completion. Nice-to-Have Skills SAP experience. Ariba / SAP Business Network experience for supplier communication. Automotive industry experience. Basic CAD drawing interpretation. Ability to view drawings and extract part information. No CAD manipulation experience is required
