Buyer/Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Buyer to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for procuring materials, components, supplies, and services to keep production running seamlessly. salary: $44,000 - $50,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
• Review material requirements, inventory levels, forecasts and purchase requests to determine raw material purchasing needs
• Prepare and track purchase orders using QuickBooks and Excel
• Obtain supplier quotes and negotiate pricing; monitor supplier performance regarding quality and delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and identify material shortages; conduct cycle counts; reconcile inventory records with physical inventory
• Identify new sources (vendors) for materials
• Assist with implementing future ERP system
