Must be accountable to others, always be on time, dependable, safe and able to work 8 to 10 hours on your feet and lead other team members. We expect you to Take Pride of Ownership as a Leader “Be Organized and Care about the Safety/Accurate Work Completed and the People around You” Responsibilities Leadership in Procurement Utilize Excel and ERP/MRP system to optimize efficiencies in purchasing raw materials for production Able to work with vendors to negotiate pricing/ placing purchase orders upon material needed for planning Communicate with freight companies, productions personnel and distributors to achieve 100% efficiency on receiving materials on time Ability to place purchase orders for all raw material and achieving the lowest cost/highest quality Able to perform and be organized in all annual audits (SQF Vendor Approval Program and Organic Certification program) Reads production schedules, inventory reports and work orders to determine the quantities needed for production Inventory all raw materials to maintain safety stock levels Must be able to work in a fast paced and multi-tasked environment Requirements: Prior experience in purchasing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as business administration, supply chain or relevant experience Experience with working knowledge of logistics software (ERP/MRP) Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office Locate products raw materials in warehouse Keep records of completed orders Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards Skills Experience handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment a plus but not required Able to read and write in English (speaking Spanish a Plus) Great attention to detail Diligent and punctual Good physical strength and stamina College diploma or equivalent is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Experience: Sourcing & Procurement Occupations: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
