Buyer Indirect

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Buyer Indirect. The position will be based at our El Paso, Texas facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $59000 - $86000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: The Indirect Buyer procures indirect goods and services to support site operations while ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures. They manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, and delivery timelines to meet business needs. The role ensures services and materials are executed effectively and supports daily operations through efficient, cost-effective sourcing. Job Responsibilities • Create and manage purchase orders based on operational and internal customer needs • Ensures invoicing and payments are up to date with suppliers based on their payment terms working alongside with Accounts payable. • Expedite, reschedule, and track orders to ensure timely delivery and minimize disruptions • Collaborate with operations and finance to support capital purchase orders • Take ownership of material and services supply risks and proactively address potential impacts to operations • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers • Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure a reliable and diverse supply base • Support supply chain metrics, goals, and overall site performance Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or supply chain Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
