No C2C or 3rd Parties *** Summary The Ash Group is hiring a Buyer II (24656) for our client, an innovative aerospace company developing reliable and cost-effective technologies for commercial spaceflight. This is a 2-month contract position working remotely (must reside in the US). We are offering a pay rate up to $54-60/hr W2 based on skill set and location. Role Details Compensation: Up to $54-60/hr W2 based on location Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. Duration: 10-month contract Location: Remote (must be located in the US) What You’ll Be Doing Provide purchasing and procurement support by assisting with purchase order (PO) management, supplier communication, invoice tracking, and basic reporting. This role focuses on routine purchasing activities, maintaining accurate procurement records, and supporting the purchasing team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing activities are completed accurately and on time. Follow up with suppliers on open purchase orders, past-due deliveries, and outstanding documentation. Support simple requests for quotations (RFQs) by gathering supplier pricing and basic information. Assist with basic procurement reporting and maintain tracking spreadsheets. Confirm purchase order (PO) details, including order status, quantities, pricing, and delivery dates. What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, Master's degree with 1+ years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree Strong data entry, organizational, and recordkeeping skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Basic knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications. Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative support preferred.
