Weston Forest is looking for a motivated Buyer (Hardwood & Infrastructure) to support our expanding procurement operations in hardwood and panel products across North America.

What You’ll Do:
Own the Supply Chain
Source hardwood and panel products under the guidance of Product Managers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure optimal value and supply consistency.
Monitor market and mill activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
Drive Efficiency
Track and forecast inventory to anticipate product needs.
Support Product Managers in stock reconciliations, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination.
Collaborate for Results
Partner with Sales, Operations, and Logistics to deliver exceptional service and timely deliveries.
Represent Weston Forest at industry tradeshows, supplier facilities, and sawmills across Canada and the U.S.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Background in lumber, sawmill, or related industries an asset.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Willingness to travel regularly within Canada and occasionally to the U.S.
Valid driver’s license, reliable access to a vehicle, and passport are required.
