Planning and Demand Forecasting of ingredient and raw material needs
Merchandising various commodities and taking positions
Writing contracts that put our company in favorable positions versus competitors and the marketplace
Complete market and competitor research and analysis
Scheduling deliveries
Pursuing freight savings by creating competition and finding new haulers
Filling customer orders by coordinating direct ship loads
Unique supply chain problem solving
Resolve purchasing problems with vendors, suppliers, and programs, including defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
High level of detail to accurately process documents and write contracts related to the purchase and sale of commodities
Proficient in Windows based software programs, especially Excel
Team oriented to support procurement, nutrition, and sales in sourcing product.
