We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.
In this position...
You’ll be the commercial architect for the most visible and interactive parts of our vehicle interiors, overseeing the entire supply chain—from the plastics and brackets that physically frame our displays to the advanced circuit boards that power our digital clusters.
Integration Lead (New Programs): Own directed-buy sourcing for new display assemblies, partnering with Tier 1 integrators and Tier 2 technology suppliers. Ensure smooth integration of high-tech panels into housings and structural components while meeting cost, quality, and program timing targets for next-generation vehicle programs.
Component Strategist (Electronics Deep-Dive): Analyze PCBA components and pricing with Tier 2 teams to create transparent, competitive cost structures. Develop expertise in electronic “should-costs,” global pricing trends, and key cost drivers to support strategic sourcing and informed decisions for advanced electronics.
Portfolio Steward (Current Programs): Lead commercial management of existing cluster programs, maintaining strong supplier relationships and overseeing pricing, quality, and supply stability. Drive continuous improvement to support high-volume production and ensure the ongoing success of current vehicle platforms worldwide.
What you’ll do…
* Take a big-picture approach to sourcing by understanding how individual components (e.g., PCBAs, plastic parts) impact overall cost, performance, and system value.
* Manage and strengthen multi-tier supplier relationships across OEM, Tier 1, and Tier 2 partners to drive alignment and results.
* Develop and execute strategic sourcing decisions by evaluating end-to-end value streams—from raw materials to finished assemblies.
* Deliver annual cost‑savings and distinguish opportunities from pure commercial leverage, design changes, and supply‑chain improvements
* Leverage data, analytics, and market insights to inform supplier selection, pricing strategies, and sourcing decisions.
* Solve complex commercial and supply chain challenges through proactive problem-solving, negotiation, and creative thinking.
You’ll have…
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, buying, or supply chain.
* Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align Engineering, Finance, and other stakeholders.
* Proven ability to manage sourcing activities across a diverse commodity portfolio.
* High adaptability and willingness to learn new commodities, including electronics and mechanical assemblies.
Even better, you may have...
* Master’s degree (MBA or related field).
* Experience with electronics, PCBAs, interior plastics, or mechanical assemblies.
* Interest or exposure to global electronics pricing and PCBA cost structures.
* Experience supporting high-visibility programs or customer-facing vehicle features.
* Background in collaborative, team-oriented environments focused on knowledge sharing and continuous development.
