Buyer

We are hiring an experienced Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Littleton, MA. In this role, you will manage procurement of components, materials, and services for complex electromechanical systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with medical device or high-complexity manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Source, quote, negotiate, and issue purchase orders for custom parts, PCBs, cable and wire harnesses, subassemblies, and specialized manufacturing services
• Ensure materials meet FDA and ISO 13485 quality and regulatory standards
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers
• Support Engineering and Production with prototypes, part obsolescence, and ECOs
• Perform cost analysis, support make/buy decisions, and drive cost reduction initiatives
• Expedite critical materials to maintain production schedules
• Maintain purchasing records and support audits

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of procurement or supply chain experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)
• Experience in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and compliance
