Oxford SolutionsWe are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer with experience in aerospace procurement and supply chain management. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing aerospace components, managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring timely procurement of materials in compliance with aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Procure aerospace components, mechanical parts, raw materials, assemblies, and technical supplies. Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements. Prepare and issue RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier agreements. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules. Coordinate with engineering, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams. Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and material shortages. Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable aerospace standards, export controls, and contractual requirements. Review technical specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering drawings to support accurate sourcing. Maintain procurement records, supplier documentation, and audit trails. Support cost-reduction initiatives, inventory optimization, and supply chain risk mitigation. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within aerospace, aviation, or defense manufacturing. Knowledge of aerospace components, engineering materials, and manufacturing processes. Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms. Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and supplier-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting. Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
