Focused on aiding military, allied, and government customers globally, the program partners with a broad supply chain to provide products and services that enable mission completion and sustain readiness. About the Opportunity: The BUYER ANALYST is responsible for securing optimal pricing and maintaining supplier relationships within designated contracts. This role oversees technical review of parts and drawings, updates technical data, and ensures a sufficient supplier base to meet contract specifications, directly impacting supply chain efficiency and contract compliance. Responsibilities: Cultivate and maintain supplier relationships for assigned contracts, ensuring supply chain redundancy. Improve costs and reduce supply lead times by establishing tiered supplier pricing. Obtain current pricing and lead times; perform data entry. Manage workload for assigned commodities or contract items. Monitor and replenish stocked items; perform inventory forecasting based on sales and demand. Ensure quality assurance and contract compliance per government requirements and AS9120B standards. Manage technical data and coordinate quality testing procedures. Communicate effectively with management and external providers. Address and resolve non-conformances in collaboration with stakeholders. Issue purchase orders and follow up on backorders or delivery schedules. Requirements: Associate degree or three years of procurement experience. Experience in procurement or supply chain preferred; military experience with relevant training accepted. Strong negotiation skills. Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to read and interpret technical data and drawings. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with ERP and inventory management software preferred; JDEdwards EnterpriseOne highly preferred. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
